Hey, this is a collection that has been going on in Britain for the past few months, basically pedalling small, lead figurines of characters from DC comics with 'informative' magazines covering the history of the character to gulible idiots with more money than sense... And seeing as I am a gulible idiot with more money than sense, and also seeing as I have quite a fair few of them now now (twenty at the last count), I thought I might as well share with you guys what I've been keeping myself occupied with during the forum downtime. 
Here's the lot so far...
The Bat-centric corner...
The Justice League of America (plus reserves. Starfire and Captain Marvel have nobody to stand with yet)
And the small gaggle of Superman related characters (if you're easily offended by crap figurines of Supergirl, look away now!)
Magazines are a bit rubbish, information is patchy and downright wrong in some places and there's more typos and spelling mistakes than I can forgive in some. But I'll be damned if most of the figurines aren't awesome...

I had a couple of new arrivals today... And unlike last month, none of them are broken or have a lame paintjob! So I can actually pictures of them! Here's this month's haul, Deadshot and the Creeper
I've been looking forward to these for awhile. Creeper is such a screwball character, and one you don't see very often in collections like this so to have him in the first 30? That's pretty damned cool, and it's a nice sculpt... Very different from everything else, and they actually nailed the 'windswept' look with him... Unlike their attempt at it with Supergirl. Deadshot is so much cooler in the lead than he looks, he's about as badass as anybody could be in a costume that silly. The camera flash makes te silver look lighter and less defined than it is, but in hand? He's very cool. Lot better than the preview pics made him out to be.

Also, I'd just like to note... Deadshot? Yeah, he has the BEST POSE EVER!!!!
I'm very tempted to just take pictures of him shooting my entire collection... But there are a couple he'd miss.

I haven't quite given up on this thread yet. I like to think people enjoy looking at the pretty pictures if nothing else.
New arrivals: Deathstroke (Not SLADE DAMNIT!!!!), Sinestro, Penguin, Black Adam and also...
Anti-Monitor and the Spectre.
Ok, to summerise... Deathstroke is freaking awesome and one of the most detailed figures yet. Sinestro is a cool sculpt but his character design is laughable and even choosing the Sinestro Corps uniform over his blue and black one doesn't save him from being a purple Dick Dastardly. Penguin is very damn impressive for a short fat bloke in a tuxedo and top hat. Black Adam is simple but effective, facial sculpt is spot on and I'm overjoyed to have my second favourite villain in the collection. Anti-Monitor is a shit character... In fact, I feel it's a stretch to even call him a character considering one of his main starring roles in modern comics was as an inanimate object, but he's a decent sculpt. Spectre, very simple but I still like him... As a big JSA and magic fan, I'm just glad to have him.

Yet more nonsense from me....
Captain Cold, Aquaman and Blue Beetle.
No complaints with those three! Other than a small problem I have with Aquaman's trident that's probably too unclouth to even mention here. :ph3ar:
Gorilla Grodd, Hawkman and Bizarro.
Gorilla Grodd is EPIC in scale and sculpting, to the point I had a dream where I threw somebody at him. Hawkman is my absolute favourite figurine of the collection so far, he's just awesome. Greatly detailed, fantastic pose and he's a favourite of mine so all's good! Bizarro's a bit meh mind, but ah well.
Still rather enjoying this collection though. Even if I am fast running out of space.
